One of my favorite spots in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park to stop, soak it in and take a picture. This is a pulloff just before you reach Newfound Gap going up from the Tennessee side.
And much closer to home, another one of my favorite places to take a picture. Looking out at Cherokee National Forest, which is the same national forest that the Great Smoky Mountains National Park is carved from, standing on my sister's deck!
